MDS installation and upgrades
If you are running an older version of MDS, it must be uninstalled before installing the current version of MDS (18.0).

MDS system requirements

  • AutoCAD® 2004 through 2010
  • Will not run on 64 bit versions of AutoCAD, call hotline for support
  • OR Microsoft® Windows® 2000 and greater— MDS runs as a desktop application

Recommended:

  • Pentium class processor
  • 64 megabytes of RAM
  • 20 megabytes of free disk space

Please note:

  • If you use a CAD package other than AutoCAD, you can export DXF symbols from the Windows stand-alone version of the MDS.
  • The MDS cannot be run in any version of AutoCAD LT.
